Pritzker Group Private Capital today announced that Brad West was promoted from vice president to principal – legal, and will continue providing strategic and operational support for the firm and its family of middle-market companies across the manufactured products, services and healthcare sectors.
At Pritzker Group Private Capital, Mr. West manages the legal aspects of the group’s investment operations, including transaction execution, corporate governance, risk management, media relations and regulatory compliance. He also works closely with the firm’s operating partners and company management in support of ongoing value creation initiatives.
Mr. West came to Pritzker Group in January 2014 from Vedder Price P.C., where he worked in the firm’s private equity, finance and transactions practice. Previously, Mr. West worked in the corporate and securities group at Mayer Brown LLP, representing buyers and sellers involved with acquisitions, divestures, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. Mr. West holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a bachelor’s degree with highest distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
