Mohan is a seasoned executive with a successful track record of managing businesses within several Fortune 100 companies. He brings over 35 years of experience in P&L management, marketing, business strategy, acquisitions, start-ups, and off-shoring.
Mohan has held key leadership positions in both the emerging and developed markets. He has built and operated greenfield businesses in Brazil, India, China and Japan in addition to managing business units in the United States. These positions include serving as an Operating Partner and Executive-in-Residence with Baird Private Equity, CEO of Lineage Power Pvt, India, Vice President at Apple (reporting to then Chief Operating Officer – Tim Cook) and Vice President of Dell’s Americas Business Unit. Mohan also served as Vice President and Managing Director of Dell India, where he was responsible for establishing and rapidly scaling Dell’s India operations to 6400 employees in 26 months – one of the fastest growths of any multinational corporation in India at the time.
Mr. Kharbanda received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota. He has been a guest speaker for the executive marketing program at the Columbia Graduate School of Management in New York and has advised the governments of Ghana, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
