Signicast Corp., a global investment casting company with headquarters in Hartford in Washington County, announced Thursday that Todd McDonald is succeeding the retiring Walter “Terry” Lutz Jr. as president and CEO. The change is effective immediately.
Lutz has been with Signicast since 1974 and was the majority owner from 1981 to 2008, when the business was purchased by Chicago-based investment firm, The Pritzker Group. McDonald previously served as Signicast’s vice president of sales and marketing.
In another personnel move at Signicast, Greg Gasper, former vice president of manufacturing, has been promoted to chief operating officer.
Signicast operates six casting plants at two locations in southeast Wisconsin and has more than 675 employees serving 500 customers.
The company currently is investing $50 million in two new Wisconsin manufacturing facilities.
